The film portrays how depression feeds not only on its victim but also the victim’s family which Alexia was determined to showcase in the film. As Ashley Judd’s daughter, her character lives through her mother’s illness and all its affects. Alexia wanted the families of those dealing with depression to be remembered. MUSIC on the island Kortula, Croatia
- Inspired by her lead role in the teen thriller, “TRIPLE DOG” also starring Brittany Robertson and Scout Taylor Compton releasing 2009, Alexia has been in the studio recording her first folk/pop song about the perils of turning 16. Her character, EVE misses her dad, due to a messy divorce and gets caught up in a deadly dare game with serious consequences with her girlfriends. In real life, Alexia started writing poetry/songs and playing a variety of instruments by ear on the beaches of Croatia before laying down tracks in her local studio. Alexia says, her ‘trademark’ as a teenager in music, is in switching up tempo and key arrangements when she composes. Does this mean her music is not commercial? Alexia doesn’t care, it’s for her freedom of expression and nothing else! Down with censorship!!
